Open science has traditionally focused on the publication of research results and data transparency. The authors of the article point out that this approach is incomplete and that effective dissemination of the results to the study participants themselves is equally important. Sharing findings directly with research participants maximizes the value and benefits of open science. Dissemination of results among participants is not only an ethical obligation, but also a practical tool for improving the quality and relevance of scientific research. Including this component in open science contributes to greater transparency and credibility of the scientific process. The authors emphasize that without effective communication of results with study participants, the potential of open science remains unused.
