The article emphasizes the need to broaden the methodological approach in research on education in the health professions in order to better capture the complex aspects of educational processes. The author calls for the adoption of diverse research methods, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed approaches, which can yield deeper and broader insights. He points out that current research often favors only some methods, which limits the possibilities for understanding and improving education. The article also points out the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation and the involvement of different experts in the creation and evaluation of research studies. The need to create tools and resources that will support the implementation of various research methodologies is emphasized. The call is addressed to researchers, educators and creators of educational programs in health care to adopt a wider methodological repertoire for better results and applicability of research. This approach can contribute to a more effective education of health professionals and thus to the improvement of health care.
