The study analyzed the feasibility of total quality management (TQM) in medical quality management and its impact on the work efficiency of medical personnel during the year 2023. The research included 50 medical personnel, comparing the periods before and after the implementation of TQM. After the implementation of TQM, work efficiency increased significantly (P < 0.001). Quality of medical services, staff satisfaction, and safety improved, as reflected by lower rates of adverse events, unplanned returns to the operating room, and infectious complications (all P < 0.05). Better management of the sterilization of medical devices and improved hygiene supervision were also noted. The study confirmed that TQM comprehensively increases the quality of medicine, patient safety and the satisfaction of medical personnel. Data were processed using statistical tests (paired t-test and χ2 test).
