The authors thank Mijna Hadders-Algrove and colleagues for their contribution to the Lancet Cerebral Palsy workshop, reminding us that the rapid increase in knowledge about the disease cannot be fully covered in a single article. The authors report that expanding evidence and innovation encompasses all aspects of cerebral palsy care from discovery to implementation. They emphasize that this progress is the result of the collaboration of people with personal experience, doctors, researchers and philanthropists who have contributed together to improve the results. The authors consider the significant development of early detection and care to be a welcome challenge because it means a lot of new information to be summarized and implemented. The text does not present specific statistics or new empirical results of the study. The authors are not proposing new recommendations or changes in clinical practice in this response; it is a reaction and a summary of the attitude towards the expanding literature.
