Intussusception secondary to gastrointestinal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is extremely rare in adults. The article presents the case of a 23-year-old man admitted for abdominal pain as the main symptom. Computed tomography revealed an ileocolic intussusception involving the ascending and transverse colon with a characteristic “target” image. Conservative treatment, including air enemas, was ineffective, so surgical intervention followed. Pathological examination of the resected lesion confirmed DLBCL. The patient received postoperative chemotherapy in the R-CHOP regimen. At 5-month follow-up, there were no complications or evidence of lymph node involvement elsewhere. In adults with intussusception, it is necessary to pay attention to the possibility of malignant tumors, especially lymphoma, while early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment improve the prognosis.
