Brief, factual summary of the article in Slovak: The study investigated whether a continuous adductor canal catheter offers any advantages in terms of reduced opioid consumption compared to a single-use block in total knee replacement (TKA). The results showed that the continuous catheter had no benefit in terms of opioid consumption compared to the disposable block. Thus, the study did not confirm that a continuous adductor canal catheter confers opioid benefits in patients undergoing TKA.
