In a STEP 1 clinical trial with nearly 2,000 participants, Wego patients lost an average of 14.9% of their initial body weight after 68 weeks, compared to 2.4% in the placebo group. In the STEP 5 study, they achieved an average reduction of 15.2% after two years. Treatment with Weg significantly reduced the risk of heart attacks, strokes and death from cardiovascular diseases. The most common side effects included nausea in 40–50% of patients and transient digestive problems.[1][2][3]
