The study investigated the effective dose of alfentanil in combination with ciprofal to suppress body movement responses during surgery in patients undergoing breast lump resection. Ciprofol was administered intravenously for induction of anesthesia and alfentanil by a sequential method with an initial dose of 10 μg/kg and a gradient of 1 μg/kg. The effective dose ED50 of alfentanil was calculated to be 13.396 μg/kg and ED95 to be 15.752 μg/kg using probit regression analysis. No patient required treatment for intraoperative hypotension or bradycardia. Respiratory depression occurred in three patients. Postoperative adverse reactions were not recorded in any patient. The combination of ciprofol with alfentanil thus suppresses movement during breast lumpectomy at the indicated doses.
