A qualitative study published in JAMA Network Open analyzed 49 psychedelic retreats and revealed substantial variability in safety protocols. In particular, it concerned the cessation of the use of pharmaceutical drugs and the combination of several substances. An article from MedPage Today highlights the risks of these retreats.
