The article reports on the correction of Workowski KA's comment on the oral treatment of uncomplicated gonorrhea with the drug zoliflodacin. Corrected the name of the organization Global Partnership for Research and Development of Antibiotics in the last sentence of the first paragraph. In the second paragraph, sentence 11 with efficacy data was revised: microbiological cure of urogenital infection was achieved in 460 of 506 participants (90.9%, 95% CI 88.1–93.3) in the zoliflodazine group. In the comparator group, 229 participants were cured (96.2%, 95% CI 92.9–98.3) and the pre-specified non-inferiority limit is given. The last sentence of the second paragraph was also changed: for rectal and pharyngeal infections, 79% of participants in the microbiological intention-to-treat population and more than 90% of participants in the evaluable population were cured in both treatment groups. At the same time, it is stated that the study was not sufficiently powered to reliably evaluate these extragenital endpoints. These corrections were made to the online version of the article as of January 8, 2026, and the print version is now listed correctly.
