The BMJ appeal 2025-26 article entitled "How innovation supports those who need it most" was published on January 9, 2026 in BMJ 2026;392:r2673 with doi:10.1136/bmj.r2673. The first part of the article has been rewritten to correct two inaccuracies. The NutriHope nutritional product was originally reported to be used for children, when in fact it is only used for adults. Another inaccuracy was that MSF only measures upper arm circumference, while correctly measuring mid-arm circumference and edema.
