The Nature Medicine Commission on Dialysis Policy in Low- and Middle-Income Countries was convened in collaboration with Nature Medicine.[1] The commission examines Thailand's experience with changing dialysis coverage policy.[1] The aim is to offer lessons for other countries with universal health insurance systems.[1] The commission is based on empirical evidence, systems thinking and multidisciplinary expertise.[1] It is intended to create policy goals and recommendations for the global nephrology community.[1] The article was published in volume 31, number 1, pages 19-21.[1] It was published in January 2025.[1]
