According to a small Chinese randomized trial, telesurgery is as reliable as standard robotic surgery for radical prostatectomy and partial nephrectomy. Telesurgery means operating on a patient remotely using a surgical robot. The study compared these two common urological procedures. Telesurgery shows promise in their implementation. The findings confirm the same reliability of both methods.
