First-year students in biomedical graduate programs across the country have said labs are hesitant to accept them. The reason is the weak biomedicine financing environment. The moderate funding of biomedicine thus introduced the first year of Ph.D. students in a difficult situation. Laboratories are not willing to accept new students due to lack of funds. Students face problems in finding laboratories for their research. Poor funding prevents the normal course of their studies. This condition affects the first year of the Ph.D. study in biomedicine at the national level.
