OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Health, a new feature to centralize and explain health information from various sources, such as electronic health records, Apple Health applications, or manually recorded medical reports.[1][2][3] The model was developed in collaboration with more than 260 doctors from 60 countries and tested using the HealthBench benchmark, which evaluates accuracy, safety and ability to recommend a visit to a specialist.[1][2] ChatGPT Health separates health conversations from regular chats, does not work with personal health records, and avoids diagnosis, treatment, or medication dosing.[2][3] The feature is currently only available in the US for a small group of users and will be expanded later.[3] Data from ChatGPT Health is not used for AI training and may be deleted after 30 days.[3] The goal is to help summarize and understand the information, not to replace the doctor.[1][2][3]
