Two cases of measles in detainees have been confirmed at Texas' Dilley Immigration Processing Center, an ICE facility operated by CoreCivic.[1][3][4] The facility currently holds approximately 1,200 people, including more than 400 children.[1] Texas confirmed the cases on Saturday, and ICE immediately halted all movement at the facility and quarantined those in contact with those infected.[3][4] Medical staff monitor the detainees and provide them with medical care.[3] Texas reported 762 measles cases in 2025, the largest increase in the US.[4] Public health experts and migrant advocates have warned of the risks of high numbers of people in close contact.[1]
