The study evaluated the impact of a WeChat-based medication reminder platform integrated with a hospital information system on Helicobacter pylori therapy in 134 patients. Patients were divided into an intervention group (67 patients with WeChat reminders) and a control group (67 patients with standard instructions) who received a 14-day quadruple treatment with amoxicillin, furazolidone, rabeprazole, and potassium bismuth citrate. The H. pylori eradication rate was significantly higher in the intervention group (97.0% [95% CI: 90.1–99.4%]) versus the control group (86.6% [95% CI: 76.2–93.4%], p = 0). Medication adherence improved from 73.1% in the control group to 92.5% in the intervention group (p = 0.003). Satisfaction with treatment was higher in the intervention group (95.5% vs. 80.6%, p = 0.011). The incidence of adverse reactions did not differ (14.9% vs. 11.9%, p = 0.596). The ITT analysis confirmed the robustness of the results.
