A new clinical study has shown that changing the time of eating significantly helps patients with Crohn's disease. Time-restricted feeding, a form of intermittent fasting, restricts eating to an 8-hour daily window. This method reduced disease activity by 40% over 12 weeks. Abdominal discomfort was halved in participants. Participants also lost weight and demonstrated healthier markers of inflammation and immunity. They did not change the amount of calories or the composition of the food.
