A Finnish case-control study showed that induced abortion or abortion is not associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. Women with a history of one or more induced abortions did not have a higher risk compared to women without such a history. The study was published on MedPage Today. The main finding confirms the absence of a connection between these events and breast cancer.
