The UK Medicines Regulatory Authority MHRA is warning of more than 20 million fake erectile dysfunction pills as criminals exploit the stigma and shame of men. The analysis showed that many seized pills do not contain any active substance, have the wrong dosage or hide drugs or toxic ingredients. Officials have pulled nearly 20 million illegal drugs from the market over the past 20 years, including a record 4.4 million in 2025. Unlicensed drugs are especially dangerous for people with heart disease, high blood pressure or taking other medications because they increase the risk of heart attack, stroke and low blood pressure. Erectile dysfunction affects approximately half of men between the ages of 40 and 70. Men shouldn't let the stigma put their health at risk.
