Caring for elderly people with frailty requires a multidisciplinary approach that includes not only physical manifestations, but also psychological, social and other factors contributing to its development[1]. Research focuses on the development of proven interventions including nutritional support, exercise programs, fall prevention strategies, cognitive stimulation and psychosocial support to improve the quality of life and functional outcomes of older people[1]. Scientists are also interested in understanding the underlying mechanisms of frailty, identifying biomarkers for early detection, and exploring innovative approaches to prevention and treatment[1]. Research also includes examining the effectiveness of integrated care involving primary medicine, geriatrics, health care, social work and other disciplines[1]. The aim is to improve the physical, psychological and social well-being of older people, prevent functional decline and reduce frailty-related healthcare costs[1]. Research is also addressing the role of artificial intelligence, wearables and other advanced technologies in the detection, treatment and prevention of frailty[1].
