The article describes a case study of multimodal contact immunotherapy in chronic alopecia areata in the era of JAK inhibitors. It presents five patients with chronic alopecia areata who were successfully treated with topical immunotherapy in combination with other treatments for 9 to 15 years. Patients achieved excellent disease control. The treatment has shown long-term safety. Immunotherapy remains a relevant approach despite new biological drugs and JAK inhibitors. The study highlights the continued value of topical immunotherapy. It demonstrates the importance of individualized multimodal approaches to optimize outcomes. Traditional immunotherapy remains a valuable treatment option for alopecia areata.
