Only parents registered in Instagram's parental control system will receive notifications. The initiative was announced on Thursday. The aim is to increase the safety of young users of the platform. Alerts are activated only for repeated searches of relevant terms. In doing so, Instagram responds to the risks associated with sensitive topics among teenagers.
