Fifteen US states led by Democrats sued Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for changes in the vaccination schedule for children. The lawsuit was filed on February 24 by a coalition of 14 attorneys general and the governor of Pennsylvania, including states such as California, Illinois and New Jersey. States say the changes are politically motivated, increase vaccine confusion and promote unscientific hostility to vaccines. According to the lawsuit, they will lead to less vaccinated children and more diseases, so they are asking for them to be declared illegal and canceled. On January 5, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reduced the number of recommended vaccinations from 17 to 11. The reform means that rotavirus, influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations are no longer recommended for children.[1]
