Global Health Watch 7 is the latest edition of a series of alternative global health reports called Mobilizing for Health Justice. The authors appreciate the involvement of Richard Horton in this edition. The series provides a space for critical analyzes of the state of global health through contributions from health activists, both local and academic. The subtitle was changed after the WHO stopped publishing annual reports on world health. Creating the Global Health Watch 7 chapters was a movement-building exercise with contributions from over a hundred activists from around the world. The release features innovations such as collective writing groups, free chapter publishing, and availability in English and Spanish. The process was endorsed by the Fifth People's Health Assembly in Argentina in April 2024.[1][2][3]
