Endometriosis affects 190 million women worldwide, yet it remains underdiagnosed, underresearched, and underfunded.[3] The main problem is a lack of awareness of the disease, which leads to delays in diagnosis and inadequate treatment.[3] Endometriosis is mainly manifested by severe pain and infertility, while deep endometriosis has an extremely negative impact on the quality of life of women.[1] Addressing these gaps requires earlier education of patients and healthcare professionals, increased research funding, and recognition of endometriosis as a systemic disease.[3] Improving awareness, diagnosis, and treatment of endometriosis is essential to redefining access to pain, equity, and investment in women's health.[3]
