The study analyzed the impact of a system of preliminary examination and triage of patients with fever in the outpatient clinic. The research included two groups of 120 patients each - a control group from April to May 2023 and a study group from the same period in 2024, which used the new classification system. Mean sorting time decreased from 15.66 ± 4.62 minutes in the control group to 10.25 ± 4.58 minutes in the study group. Patient waiting time decreased from 46.05 ± 9.79 minutes to 30.49 ± 9.07 minutes. The system of preliminary examination and triage significantly improved the satisfaction of both patients and medical staff with treatment and work experience. The results indicate that the implementation of this system has practical value and effectively increases the efficiency of health care in the outpatient clinic for patients with fever.
