Boris Nikolić is a biotechnology entrepreneur and former scientific advisor to Bill Gates in the field of global health. In 2019, two days before his death, Jeffrey Epstein named Nikolić in his will as co-executor of an estate worth approximately $578 million to $600 million. Nikolić was shocked by his nomination, was not informed or consulted about it and refused to carry it out. His team says he had no business ties to Epstein, although their networks overlapped through a mutual well-known Harvard geneticist, George Church. Nikolić's fund Biomatics Capital was an early investor in Church's companies such as Editas Medicine and eGenesis. The primary executors of the will were Darren K. Indyke and Richard D. Kahn, who were sworn to carry out the duties. Nikolić serves as co-founder and director of Biomatics Capital and sits on the boards of several biotech companies.
