The American Academy of Pediatrics is suing Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. due to changes in recommendations for COVID vaccines. The lawsuit claims these changes were made without a scientific basis. According to the suit, Kennedy illegally fired vaccine advisers and replaced them with more vaccine skeptics. The original experts were pushed aside and science was replaced by a group of eight, later seven people with less experience. The decision was made outside of the standard process. The organization's president, Susan Kressly, said children deserve better and Kennedy's actions crossed a line. The judge reportedly ruled in favor of the plaintiffs.
