Microsoft has launched Copilot Health, a standalone secure chatbot within its Copilot assistant that provides personalized health advice.[1] The service collects data from wearable devices, analyzes it and helps users improve their health and warns of the risk of serious diseases.[1] During the development of Copilot Health, Microsoft consulted with the most important medical organizations from fifty countries and received certification from the US National Academy of Medicine, which guarantees the high quality and safety of the advice.[1] The system has access to data from more than 50,000 US medical facilities through the HealthEx platform and can find a suitable specialist in a given location.[2] Copilot Health is ISO/IEC 42001 certified for the management of AI systems, which means that an independent third party has verified how Microsoft manages the service and protects private health information.[1] A team of more than 230 doctors from 24 countries oversees the development of the tool.[3] The service is currently in testing and available only in the US in the English language, later it will be expanded to other countries and languages.[1]
