The paper presents a three-step framework for high-throughput biofabrication that integrates 3D bioprinting, assistive platforms, and translational opportunities. Authors Yogendra Pratap Singh, Joseph Christakiran Moses, Myoung Hwan Kim and others from Penn State University and other institutions describe this framework in the journal Bioactive Materials (Volume 57, Pages 726-753, November 2025). The framework includes key technologies such as 3D bioprinting, automation, biomaterials, bioreactors, drug screening, microfluidics and tissue engineering. The goal is to improve the efficiency of the production of biological structures for medical applications. The paper is a review article, published with DOI 10.1016/j.bioactmat.2025.11.024 and PMID 41399464.
