Scientists have developed a viral therapy that makes one of the most aggressive brain tumors vulnerable to the immune system. A single injection of the modified virus attacks glioblastoma. The virus kills cancer cells and summons immune fighters deep within the tumor. These immune cells persist in the tumor and continue to attack. This response is associated with longer survival in patients.
