A retrospective study compared the efficacy of HIFU and UAE, both followed by curettage, in the treatment of type I and II cesarean scar (CSP) pregnancy. The study included 84 patients treated at the university hospital in the years 2021-2024. Patients treated with HIFU had a shorter hospital stay and less often reported decreased menstrual flow compared to patients treated with UAE. The time to intrauterine pregnancy was shorter in the HIFU group. There was no statistically significant difference in intrauterine pregnancy rate between the groups. No significant differences were found in intraoperative blood loss, operative time, β-hCG normalization time, or menstrual recovery. The study suggests that HIFU may be more effective in treating CSP in some aspects, but more research is needed.
