The study investigated the effect of remimazolam on tremor and clinical responses in women after caesarean section under neural anesthesia. The patients were divided into three groups: remimazolam (R), remimazolam with flumazenil (RF) and control group (C). Administration of remimazolam after delivery of the fetus resulted in a lower incidence of perioperative tremor in the R and RF groups compared to the control group. Patients in group R had a higher perioperative body temperature. Traction response scores during uterine manipulation were lower in the R and RF groups. Postoperative nausea and vomiting occurred less frequently in the remimazolam groups. Flumazenil partially preserved the reduction in shivering.
