A survey of scientists funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) found that NIH restrictions on partnerships with foreign institutions had a significant impact on their work. Specifically, a quarter (25%) of researchers reported that their research was significantly or significantly affected by these limitations. This impact was caused by the deviation from foreign undervaluations. The survey focused on scientists who receive NIH funding.
