The frontMIND trial compared the efficacy of tafasitamab, lenalidomide, and R-CHOP combination therapy with standard R-CHOP treatment in patients with high-risk diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Results demonstrated significant improvement in progression-free survival with the tafa-len-R-CHOP regimen. However, the safety profile of the new treatment was less favorable, with increased adverse events including cases leading to death. Overall survival data remain immature as patient follow-up is ongoing. Further analyses, including circulating tumor DNA assessment, should help determine whether deeper molecular responses contribute to the observed progression-free survival benefit.
