Study of Antihypertensive Treatment and Cardiovascular Risk in Chinese Prehypertensive Population

This study focuses on antihypertensive treatment and cardiovascular risk. Specifically, it examines the Chinese prehypertensive population. The main objective is to assess the impact of treatment on individuals with high-normal blood pressure. Interventions included the drugs Telmisartan and Indapamide. A placebo was also administered as part of the study. The study was sponsored by Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. The project has been successfully completed.
