This scientific study focuses on training dental students using virtual reality. Specifically, it targets the practice of inferior alveolar nerve block, which is an important anesthetic technique in dentistry. The research was conducted within dental education to improve the skills of future dentists. The study compared two different methods of student teaching and preparation. One of the tested methods was a virtual reality simulator named SIMtoCARE. The second method was conventional, meaning traditional, training of students. This entire research project was sponsored by Konya Necmettin Erbakan University. According to the available information, this study has already been successfully completed.
