The study examines the use of motor imagery as an intervention method for prosthetic gait training in patients with unilateral transtibial amputation. Motor imagery is a technique in which patients mentally visualize movements without physically performing them. This method was tested in patients with transtibial amputation, meaning amputation of the leg below the knee level. The study was conducted in collaboration with Ariel University and Loewenstein Hospital. The research focused on improving patients' ability to walk with a prosthesis through mental training. The study is now completed and its results may contribute to the development of new rehabilitation methods for amputated patients.
