The study evaluated the feasibility of the EXUS (Expert in Ultrasound Skills) platform, which synchronizes data from inertial measurement units (IMU) mounted on ultrasound probes with video recordings during focused cardiac ultrasound. The pilot observational study included 6 operators who performed two repetitions of a four-view protocol, creating 12 analytical sessions and 48 planned acquisitions. All 48 planned acquisitions were successfully completed with video, start/stop events, and complete labels. Temporal coverage was at least 90 percent in 47 of 48 acquisitions. IMU data integrity exceeded the 80 percent threshold in most cases. Mean agreement in the Likert image quality rating task was 38.9 percent with quadratic-weighted Cohen's kappa of 0.564. The EXUS platform proved technically feasible for synchronized IMU-video data collection during focused cardiac ultrasound.
