The study analyzed scientific publications on hypertension and frailty in older adults from three databases (Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed) covering the period 1973 to 2025. A total of 4,954 publications were included, with publication numbers increasing significantly after 2015 and approaching 1,000 articles annually by 2023. The United States contributed the most publications (1,086; 21.9%), followed by China (542; 10.9%) and Italy (379; 7.7%). Research focuses on hypertension management, frailty assessment, body composition, grip strength, gait speed, and physical activity. The analysis revealed that future research should address multimorbid populations and validate combined interventions targeting blood pressure control and functional outcomes in real-world settings.
