The negotiation process on healthcare reimbursement rates for the next year concluded successfully with agreements reached with 11 segments and a laboratory subsegment. However, no agreement was reached with major segments accounting for two-thirds of all public health insurance funds. Health insurance companies requested a payment increase of 25 billion crowns, but ultimately agreed on an increase of 21 billion crowns, with three billion provided from insurance companies' operational funds. Segments that reached agreements include emergency medical services, gynecology, dentistry, physiotherapy, and home healthcare services. No agreement was reached on acute inpatient care, follow-up inpatient care, outpatient specialists, and radiodiagnostics. The Ministry of Health will issue a reimbursement regulation that will not be deficit-based and will reflect the agreed rates.
