Satendra Singh is a physician and disability activist. He serves as Director-Professor of Physiology at the University College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital in Delhi, India. He was born in Rewari, a small town in Haryana. He is the youngest of four siblings. At just 9 months of age, he contracted poliomyelitis. As a result, his family, including his mother and brothers, relocated to Delhi. Singh views his impairment as a 'blessing in disguise' and his greatest qualification for solving problems.
