The article concerns the FASTEST clinical trial, which compared the efficacy of recombinant factor VIIa with placebo in patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage within 2 hours of symptom onset. It was a multicenter, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled phase 3 trial published in The Lancet in 2026. Two corrections were made to the article: a spelling error in the surname of Ilana Spokoyny was corrected, and in table 2, odds ratios (95% CI) were replaced with least squared means (95% CI). These corrections were applied to the online version of the article as of June 18, 2026.
