The Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) is currently assessing the acquisition of the OK Rehabilitace outpatient rehabilitation network by the EUC healthcare group. The OK Rehabilitace network, operated by PHF Rehabilitace from the Potysz Health Fond (PHF) group, operates in ten cities. These cities include Prague, Brno, Bohumín, Český Těšín, Havířov, Ostrava, Ústí nad Labem, and Zlín. The transaction primarily concerns the fields of therapeutic rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Following the acquisition, the EUC group will operate nearly 30 outpatient rehabilitation facilities across the Czech Republic. EUC is the largest provider of outpatient and home healthcare in the Czech Republic, managing 17 polyclinics, 26 pharmacies, and 15 laboratories. The EUC group employs over 3,200 healthcare professionals and reported a consolidated profit of 225.9 million CZK last year, with a turnover of 5.7 billion CZK.
