The study presents results of cognitive assessment in 2,525 participants from Add Health Wave VI who completed in-home cognitive performance evaluation. Using confirmatory factor analysis, two general cognitive performance scores were developed: one based on five originally designed cognitive domains and another modified according to the Harmonized Cognitive Assessment Protocol framework. Both models demonstrated good fit with statistical indicators (RMSEA = 0.025-0.027, SRMR = 0.031-0.033, CFI = 0.962-0.968). The Add CAPS cognitive battery captures a robust hierarchical structure of general cognitive performance. The derived factor scores provide a valuable method for characterizing an individual's cognitive baseline in midlife. The modified Add CAPS GCP-H version improves comparability with the HCAP network and supports cognitive aging analyses across different cohorts.
