The study evaluated the effectiveness of the integrated LDRP (labor-delivery-recovery-postpartum) model among 542 low-risk pregnant women at a Chinese tertiary hospital. The LDRP group had shorter labor duration (7.3 hours versus 9.8 hours), lower cesarean section rates (1.2% versus 4.6%), and lower neonatal transfer rates (5.4% versus 16.0%). Women in the LDRP group more frequently reported feeling calm and relaxed (17.7% versus 0.4%), although they had higher pain scores during the latent phase. The LDRP model effectively shortened labor, reduced cesarean sections and neonatal transfers, and improved maternal psychological experience. The protective effect of LDRP on postpartum hemorrhage requires further validation.
