Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has agreed to purchase India-based Innovcare Lifesciences for approximately 2.71 billion rupees ($28.7 million) in a cash transaction. Sun Pharma will acquire full ownership and control of Innovcare Lifesciences, with the transaction expected to close on or before July 31, 2026. Innovcare Lifesciences operates in the Indian market, focusing on marketing, distribution, and sale of pharmaceutical products, nutraceuticals, and cosmeceuticals. The company reported operational revenue of 940 million rupees for the financial year ending March 2026, compared to 860 million rupees in the previous year. Sun Pharma stated that the acquisition is part of its strategy to expand and strengthen its product portfolio. The transaction does not require any governmental or regulatory approvals.
