EFFECTS OF TWO PAİN MANAGEMENT EDUCATİON METHODS DURİNG HEEL PRİCK PROCEDURES ON MATERNAL ANXİETY AND NEONATAL PAİN

The study examined the effects of two different education methods on reducing neonatal pain and maternal anxiety during heel prick procedures performed on newborns. The first method included verbal education and educational material in the form of a brochure, while the second method used verbal education combined with a video program supported by artificial intelligence. The study focused on non-pharmacological interventions as a way to alleviate pain and anxiety. The research was conducted at Kocaeli University and was successfully completed. The aim was to compare the effectiveness of both educational approaches in improving newborn comfort and reducing maternal stress during medical procedures.
