Effects of Neural Gliding Addes to ESWT and Standard Exercise in Plantar Fasciitis

The study examined the effects of neural gliding as an addition to extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) and standard exercise programs in the treatment of plantar fasciitis. Plantar fasciitis is a condition characterized by heel pain. The research was conducted at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University and Gulhane Training and Research Hospital. The completed study compared three treatment approaches: ESWT, standard exercises, and neural gliding exercises. The objective was to determine whether adding neural gliding to standard treatment improves outcomes in plantar fasciitis. The research provides information about combined treatment options for patients with heel pain.
